Amy Quandelacy Weslay Native American Zuni Lapis Lazuli Sterling Silver Hummingbird Ring - Size 10
Lapis Lazuli is a commonly used stone by Native American silversmiths. This particular ring is a stunning example of inlay work done by Zuni artisan Amy Quandelacy Weslay. The stamp "Amy" is her hallmark. The symbol made by the inlay stone work and channel work in this ring represents the Native American symbol for the Hummingbird.
The metal in this ring is .925 Sterling. At it's largest the ring is approximately 1 1/4 inches tall and lightly larger than 5/8 of an inch wide. The setting stands off the band nearly 1/4 inch. It weighs approximately 23 grams. The band size is approximately 10.
The ring band appears to be cast and gives this ring a very heavy and sturdy feel to it.
