The word "Concho" is a derivative of the Spanish word for a shell, "concha". Conchos are basically metal ornaments made like a shell and were traditionally made to adorn clothing. Concho belts and earrings are very popular among the Southwest Native American tribes.
These earrings weigh a combined 6 grams as a pair or 3 grams each. They are approximately 1 1/4 of an inch tall and slightly under 1 inch wide.
The earrings do not have a maker's mark or metal purity stamp. However, they do test well for Sterling Silver.
