Leah Cleveland, a member of the Native American Navajo tribe, is known for his overlay work. He cuts the figure from precious metals and then solders it to the underlying precious metal. In this ring he has cut the Eagle figure from 14k Gold and attached it to a Sterling Silver ring.
In Southwest Native American tradition eagles signify courage, wisdom and strength. Eagles were seen as the messenger to the Creator, able to balance the heavenly with the earthly.
The ring is stamped with Leah Cleveland's Lizard hallmark, "Sterling", and "14K". The Gold is the overlay, including the Eagle, and the Sterling Silver is the band.
The ring face is just under an inch tall and just under 2/3rds of an inch at its widest. The ring weighs approximately 15 grams. The band size is approximately 13.
